Sarfraz returns to Karachi after successful Zimbabwe tour
Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed returned to Karachi on Tuesday after the successful tour of Zimbabwe.
Talking to media upon his arrival at the Jinnah International Airport, the skipper said their main focus of the tour was tri-nation series. “Fans were looking forward for that series with a question in mind that how Pakistan will perform against Australia,” he said.
“Thanks to Allah, we did well against Aussies and lifted the trophy,” he added. Speaking about Fakhar Zaman, Sarfraz said Fakhar individually had a tour of his life.
"He broke several records during the tour. Fakhar’s current form will benefit Pakistan in future tours,” Sarfraz said. Fakhar became the first Pakistani and over all sixth batsmen to score a double ton in One Day Internationals history.
Pakistan team had a busy tour of Zimbabwe. They played a tri-nation series followed by five One Day Internationals against Zimbabwe.
During the whole tour, Australia were the only side to came on a victory stand against Pakistan during Twenty 20 international of tri-nation series.
