Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized a huge quantity of liquor during a raid near Makran Coastal Highway on late Monday night. According to details, beer bottles and liquor worth more than 20 million rupees was seized as Coast Guards on a tip-off raided Baro area near Makran Coastal Highway and recovered liquor hidden in bushes. A total number of 4152 bottles, 658 tonnes of liquor and 26 wine bags were seized.
Coast Guard spokesperson said that the liquor was to be smuggled from Karachi to a foreign country, adding that an investigation has been launched after registering a case against unknown smugglers. Makran Coastal Highway is a 653 km-long along Arabian Sea coastline.
