It is a great honour and pleasure for me to extend my views on the auspicious occasion of National Day of Russian Federation the 12th June. History has proved that Russia has always comes forward to assist Pakistan in its difficult times, be it industrialization, economic co-operation, earthquake rehabilitation or fight against international terrorism.
Presently Pakistan is experiencing the difficult and crucial phase in energy crises, internal and external security challenges and development of economy. It is my firm belief that the Government and the people of Russia will once again cooperate with Pakistan to overcome its difficulties in all aspects. In more than two decades since independence, Russia has become one of the world's largest countries with dynamic economy and social sphere. This has brought to modern Russia well-deserved authority and respect to the world community.
Pakistan is determined to further improve in every possible way our special relations of privileged strategic partnership and consistently implement agreements reached at 2nd Inter-governmental Commission held in 2012 at Islamabad, which have become a good tradition. I hope that in the 3rd IGC which had held in Moscow last year November, both the countries will accomplish much more of mutual set goals.
Through joint efforts the Pakistan-Russia dialogue is advancing fruitfully. New promising projects and initiatives enrich multifaceted ties in trade and economy, science and technology and in humanitarian field. I am convinced that constructive co-operation on the whole gamut of bilateral and international agenda helps in unleashing the greater potential of our close and mutually beneficial relations for the benefit of the Pakistan and Russian people and in the interest of building a just, democratic and secure world.
The achievements of Russia in economic, social, scientific and technical spheres are well-known. Russia rightfully enjoys great authority in regional and world affairs, plays an active role in resolving pressing problems of the world community.
Pakistan-Russian relations based on the enduring traditions of friendship and mutual respect have been developing in the spirit of strategic partnership. I am convinced that by joint efforts we will ensure further enhancement of the whole gamut of bilateral ties, constructive interaction within different multilateral formats. This, undoubtedly, serves the core interests of the peoples of our states.
I wish to extend to the Government and people of Russia warmest greetings and best wishes on the occasion of National Day of Russian Federation. The expression of my hope is recorded herewith to say that our bilateral relations should develop on the basis of mutual co-operation of public sectors of both the countries to the general benefits of the citizens of both countries as trade brings prosperity, imposes and creates space in the political dimensions and as well as developing country like Pakistan can increase the prosperity level of its citizens for further stabilisation of political economy.
