Joint opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday walked out of the Provincial Assembly proceedings after registering a protest on the floor of house and announced the boycott of the budget session over alleged rigging and mismanagement in the recent local bodies' polls and non-utilisation of the development funds of the last two years.
After the recitation from Holy Quran, the Speaker, Asad Qaiser invited Finance Minister Muzaffar Said, the legislators of joint opposition comprising of the JUI-F, PML-N, ANP and PPP stood up and started chanting slogans against alleged rigging in local bodies' polls.
