ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Sunday congratulated the nation particularly the Pakistan Army on completion of one year of Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism. According to a PM House statement, the Prime Minister said Zarb-e-Azb is the manifestation of the resolve to root-out terrorism from the country.
He said the whole nation is thankful to the mothers, sisters and wives who had sacrificed their sons, brothers and spouses, respectively, to purge the country of terrorism, and also prayed for them.
"The nation will remember their sacrifices forever due to which Pakistan is successfully eliminating terrorism and heading towards progress," the Prime Minister commented.
He said those who are fighting on this dangerous front are sacrificing their today for a better future of the nation and on the day, the whole nation expresses solidarity with them.
