An Anti-Terrorism Court Quetta on Monday sentenced an accused along with co-accused absconding to five years rigorous imprisonment (RI) in a case of threatening a doctor of abducting his son. The Judge of ATC Aftab Loon hearing the case sentenced accused Abdul Manan along with absconding co-accused Abdul Baqi to five years RI for threatening a doctor Muhammad Naseem.
Accused had demanded Rs, 20, 00000 ransom from Dr Muhammad Naseem on cell phone and threatened that in case of non-payment they would kidnap his son. They were fined for Rs 50000 by the Judge. In case default they will serve two month more in prison.
