A day after shocking revelations by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Tariq Mir, the intelligence agencies on Saturday raided a house belonging to a close relative of London Coordination Committee member Mohammed Anwar. The raid was conducted in Gulistan-e-Johar Block IV, however, no arrest was made. Meanwhile, the intelligence officials took away some important documents from the house.
Earlier, a transcript of Edgware Police Station revealed that MQM leader Tariq Mir had confessed to receiving training and funds from Indian intelligence agency RAW. In April 2015, Mohammed Anwar, a member of MQM's Central Coordination Committee, was arrested at his home in north London on suspicion of money laundering. He was released after interrogation.
