KMC Administrator Roshan Ali Shaikh has imposed a ban on the usage of air-conditioner in all KMC offices before 11am and also in the absence of the officers concerned. Addressing a meeting in Civic Centre, he directed the officers that due to current load shedding in the city every citizen has to contribute its role, especially the government officers to ensure careful use of energy, said a statement on Monday.
He urged the officers to stick to this rule and make their subordinates bound to follow this directive. In case of any violation, the departmental head will have to face the action, he added. While taking strict notice of the revenue condition in KMC Administrator Roshan Shaikh directed the departments concerned to bring more and more improvement in this connection. He also directed that all revenue departments will have to submit a weekly report of their performance and a review meeting will be held each month that he will chair to review in detail the recovery situation in KMC.
