The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) has disconnected gas connections of as many as 148 industrial and commercial consumers of Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Islamabad, Lahore, Sheikhpura, Gujranwala and other regions who owe amount of Rs 1.12 billion.
SNGPL has disconnected 122 industrial and 26 commercial connections during 26th May 2015 to 15th June 2015. In this respect, following 10 consumers of Rawalpindi, 7 consumers of Peshawar, 15 consumers of Islamabad, 55 consumers of Lahore, 7 consumers of Sheikhpura, 24 consumers of Gujranwala, 5 consumers of Faisalabad, 10 consumers of Multan, 3 consumers of Sargodha, 4 consumers of Sahiwal & Bahawalpur, and 3 consumers of Gujrat and 1 consumer of Abbotabad were disconnected.
