A notorious robber was killed in exchange of fire with police here on Sunday. Arms were recovered from the possession of the deceased. ASP Masood Bangash said that the encounter took place in Mirwah locality of Khairpur when police launched crackdown to arrest the wanted culprits.
He said a notorious criminal wanted by police in more than a dozen cases of robberies, murder, attempt, kidnapping and other crimes was killed in cross firing. The police recovered arms from the possession of the accused killed in fire exchange.
