Funeral prayers of martyrs of Mansehra helicopter crash was held at Chaklala, ISPR reported on Saturday. According to ISPR, the service chiefs on Saturday attended funeral prayers in Rawalpindi for those martyred in Thursday's helicopter crash near Mansehra town. Besides the services chiefs, the funeral prayers were offered by senior officers of Pakistan Army and people from all walks of life in Chaklala area of the garrison city.
As many as twelve people were killed when a helicopter belonging to the army crashed near Mansehra town in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They were going to Gilgit to rescue injured army man. The accident came only hours after a helicopter of the Pakistan Air Force crashed in the flood-hit district of Chitral. In May, Mi-17 army helicopter crashed at a holiday resort in the picturesque hills of Gilgit in which seven people, including two foreign ambassadors were killed.
