Sindh government might push the trigger of Anti-Corruption Establishment to take action against the ministers and bureaucrats allegedly involved in corruption. This step would keep the Rangers, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) away while it would be easier for the Sindh government to manage the desired outcome of action by the ACE against the Ministers and bureaucrats.
Sources privy to the development have linked the case of reshuffling Sindh Cabinet with that strategy of Sindh government under which most vocal Minister Sharjeel Innam Memon was made Minister for Works and Services and the portfolio of Information was taken from him and given to former Minister for Education Nisar Ahmed Khuhro. Memon had enjoyed three portfolios at a time, Information, Archives and Local Government. The Local Government portfolio was given to Syed Nasir Shah.
They said that the law enforcement agencies especially the paramilitary force Rangers, FIA, and NAB are determined to bring the corrupt Ministers, MPAs, bureaucrats and public department officials to task. Despite strong reservations, repeated complaints from the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Federal Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, the law enforcement agencies have shown full determination to isolate, arrest and take to task those involved in corruption.
Sources privy to the emerging developments pertaining to LEA's unshaken resolve to eliminate corruption and terror funding have presently focused on terror funding resources in which money was minted in billion through illegal sale of land in the form of 'China Cutting' and bribe and extortion, money laundering, etc.
Sources claimed that Sindh government having been puzzled by actions and non-elastic attitude of the law enforcement agencies has now opted a strategy to slowly and gradually part ways with those, whose names are on top of the list and wanted by the law enforcers. Luckily, the Sindh government has availed enough time to enforce its strategy as the law enforcers are still busy in gathering concrete proof of massive corruption especially against the Ministers and government officials. Sources claimed that the portfolio of Archives and Works and Services might also be taken back from Sharjeel Memon.
