Senior politician Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has revealed that seeking resignation from Nabil Gabol from MNA slot was a political blunder that was a threshold of developing political crises in the country and finally MQM legislators submitted resignations in assemblies.
There is need to promote tolerance in military and political leadership to overcome the crises and its solution through amicable political way with tolerance.

This was the starting point of developing political crises in the country
The Gabol's resignation sent a message to MQM that Punjab wants to induct Punjabi leadership in Karachi and Sindh by replacing MQM, created a gulf between the government and MQM, and finally generated a new political crisis. He said the country can not afford such crises at this crucial juncture when armed forces are busy in tribal areas against terrorism networks, he said.
He said military leadership is the only ray of hope to save the country and it should learn a lesson from East Pakistan and solve the political problems through political means by developing tolerance. He demanded the government not accept MQM legislators' resignations. Javed Hashmi was optimistic the political and military leadership would overcome the crises.
He said Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar once claimed he would enter Pakistan on Indian tanks. Similarly, different parties protecting the stake of United States, Saudi Arab, Iraq, Iran and other countries.
Javed Hashmi said the military leadership should learn a lesson from past and develop tolerance and harmony. The tolerance is the only solution to present crisis. He denied vindicating Inter Services Intelligence in the past saying he always indicated some disgruntle elements patronised Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf's Islamabad sit-in and agitation. Javed Hashmi said he discussed things, which PTI chief Imran Khan and other PTI leadership conveyed him time to time. Imran Khan once told him, "If Mian Nawaz Sharif does not resign, the Supreme Court of Pakistan Chief Justice Nasriul Mulk would ready to dissolute National and Provincial assemblies". The midterm elections were part of the whole in three months bringing the PTI into power, he said quoted Imran Khan told him.
Javed Hashmi said Imran Khan made all revelations in the presence of Arif Alvi, Shafqat Mehmood, and Dr Sheren Mazari. He said Imran Khan was assigned target of bringing 500,000 participants in Islamabad but he could bring 36300 persons. He said 3-4 retired army Generals were involved in designing and devising sit-in strategy, but all were unable to fulfil commitments made with Imran Khan due to poor presence in Islamabad sit-in. "When I leave the sit-in and goes back to Multan, the than ISI chief Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha threats me on phone that he will not spare you and Mian Nawaz Sharif, Khawaja Asif and some other PML-N stalwarts.
