Sunny Leone, Janhvi and Ishaan to debut on ‘Koffee with Karan 6’

‘Dhadak’ couple Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar will soon make their first appearance in an upcoming season of Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee with Karan’. The two starred in Shashank Khaitan's directorial Dhadak, which won hearts and crossed the Rs100 crore mark worldwide.

Apart from Jahnvi and Ishaan, actress Sunny Leone will also mark her debut in Karan’s popular chat show. Reportedly, Karan is likely to start shooting in September. The production team wants to launch the sixth season by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Karan will be bringing on debutants from his movies on ‘Koffee with Karan’. Earlier, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan also made a debut soon after their first film was released.

“Dhadak has worked well and the two newcomers are popular with youngsters. Like his ‘Student of the Year’ trio, these two newbies will also be facing the questions of their mentor. They just might spill some beans and reveal secrets that only Karan is privy to,” DNA India quoted a source working on the creative of the show.

“We have locked Sunny for one episode. She has never been a part of the show and Karan thought it would be a great idea to invite her," the source added.

“She is known to be extremely candid about her life as an adult film star and her journey to Bollywood. Her stint on Koffee with Karan is expected to be unplugged and unfiltered, just the way the host likes it,” the source further said. Sunny’s life was recently made into a web series titled ‘Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone’.
