Qamar Aftab was elected unopposed Chairman of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA) North Zone here during Annual General Meeting of the Association. Similarly Zia-ur-Rehman Chaudhry and Abdul Hameed were elected Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively for the year 2015-2016. The Annual General Meeting of the PHMA was held at Sialkot with maximum participation from Lahore and Sialkot in addition to Faisalabad.
According to a source of the PHMA, earlier Tahir Mehmood, M/s. T. K. Apparel, and Kashif Zia, M/s. Lahore Fashions, from Faisalabad, Adil Butt, M/s. Al-Kam Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, Mohammad Zubair Sheikh, M/s. Creative Industries and Shafique Butt, M/s. Ayesha Fabrics, from Lahore, where as Mohammad Younus Sony, M/s. Sony Sports and Fitness were also declared successfully for Zonal Executive Committee.
Meanwhile, for Central Executive Committee Dr Khurram Tariq, M/s. Kay & Emms (Pvt.) Ltd and Shahid Ahmed Sheikh, M/s Haroon Salman Inds (Pvt.) Ltd, from Faisalabad, Shahzad Saleem Asghar, M/s. Style Textile (Pvt.) Ltd, and Syed Hassan Masood Zaidi M/s. Subhan Knitwear, from Lahore, where as Faisal Mehboob Sheikh, M/s. Peak Garments (Pvt.) Ltd from Sialkot, have also been elected unopposed.
