Former Pakistan all-rounder Hasan Jamil, who died after sudden cardiac arrest was laid to rest here at the Model Colony Graveyard on Wednesday. He played six One-day International (ODIs) for Pakistan. Hasan made his one-day debut against England at Zafar Ali Stadium Sahiwal on December 23, 1977, scoring 20 runs and did not bowl. He was 63 and left behind a widow and two daughters to mourn his death.
Hasan Jamil, also was a part of Asif Iqbal's 1979 World Cup squad. But not played a single match. He also remained member of the national selection committee. He scored 111 runs and took eight wickets in ODIs.
