Lean business on grain market

Small business was seen on the local grain market on Wednesday due to less buying interest among buyers, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab lost Rs 500 to Rs 10750 and the Moong Afghan followed same pattern, losing 750 to Rs 11750, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 1750 and the good quality was up by Rs 75 to Rs 1775, they said. On the rice and grams sectors prices held the overnight levels, they said.
