PIPFA is a body incorporated as a Non-profit Association under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. PIPFA is the premium national body for imparting professional accountancy education to the Public Sector of Pakistan besides a gateway professional accountancy education to the corporate sector.
PIPFA as at June 2015 has over 6700 members and 30000 students, who it supports throughout their careers, providing services through a network of 4 offices and 12 approved centres around Pakistan. PIPFA is acknowledged to be sponsored by three bodies including: ICAP - Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, ICMAP - Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, and AGP - Department of Auditor General of Pakistan.
PIPFA is an Associate Member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC-USA). IFAC is a highly prestigious International Federation having 175 members & associates in 130 countries. It is a matter of great pride for any accounting body to be associated with federation of such an unparallel repute and standing.
PIPFA has completed its 23 years of operation as a symbol of success and professional excellence. PIPFA was constituted to impart quality education and develop Specialised Professional Accountants. PIPFA is running with the theme to minimise the gap between the demand and supply for second tier Accounting Executives at Public as well as Corporate Sector.
