NBP realising the imperativeness of strengthening skills for investigating the surging financial crimes has arranged a five-day training programme titled as "Financial Crimes Investigation" for NAB's Investigation Officers from across Pakistan in NBP Staff College, Karachi.
The event was graced by the presence of Syed Iqbal Ashraf, President NBP; Lieutenant Colonel Siraj ul Naeem (Retd), DG NAB Karachi; Qamar Husain, Head, NBP T&OD Division & Mahmood Akhtar Nadeem, SVP / Director, Staff College Karachi. Qamar Husain while addressing the audience briefly mentioned the importance of the training programme and congratulated his team for successfully organising that training event.
Syed Iqbal Ashraf, NBP President, expressed his gratitude to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for reposing confidence on NBP for training their officers, adding the programme was a sheer example of a great partnership between two organisations of national stature that would go a long way in benefitting the entire banking industry.
While elaborating NBP's role in collection of government revenue in an efficient and transparent manner, he highlighted the process improvements that had been introduced to serve the national ex-chequer in a better way. He expressed appreciation for NBP's training team for arranging the programme with high professionalism & dedication. DG NAB on this occasion thanked NBP for hosting that highly critical training programme for NAB officials from across Pakistan. He was confident that the training programme would help investigation officers while carrying out their official assignments being now equipped with enhanced understanding of the subject matter. The ceremony was concluded upon presentation of certificates to the participants.-PR
