Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif telephoned to Chief Minister KPK Pervaiz Khattak and expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of life and property due to earthquake in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He offered all possible cooperation to KPK government for rescue and relief activities. Talking to Chief Minister KPK on phone, Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab government is ready to immediately send medical teams as well as concerned staff and machinery to KPK for rescue and relief activities.
He said that Punjab government is standing with affected families of KPK and we will not leave our brothers and sisters alone in this hour of trail. The Chief Minister said we are earnestly ready for helping our brothers and sisters in distress. He said that necessary instructions have been issued to concerned departments to immediately send trucks carrying relief items to the affected areas of KPK. He said that the trucks carrying medicines, eatable items and blankets will immediately be sent to affected districts of KPK. Shehbaz Sharif said he is deeply grieved over loss of precious human lives and has expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
