President Pakistan Peoples' Party Punjab Manzoor Wattoo has extended hearties congratulations to Barrister Ali Zafar of Asma Jahangir Group, for winning the prestigious slot of President Supreme Court Association President in an election held on Thursday.
He said his election as the President of the Supreme Court would give impetus to the movement for the establishment of the supremacy of the law and the constitution so important for the future and continuity of democracy in the country. He said he was the illustrious son of S M Zafar, a distinguished legal mind and politician of repute.
