Professor Dr Naeem A. Jafery, the eminent educationist, Founding Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University and Professor of Emeritus and Advisor on Academic Affairs, passed away at the age of 86 on Monday. Professor Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Vice Chancellor, Ziauddin University condoled the noted academician Professor Dr Naeem, saying that he was one of our most distinguished educationists. I am deeply grieved of the passing away of Professor Jafery. May Allah rest his soul in peace.
Paying tribute to late professor, Dr Pirzada Qasim said he would be remembered for his commitment and leadership qualities. He worked hard for improving the education system. He would be remembered for his services forever in the field of education. In his condolence message, Dr Pirzada Qasim said "Dr Jafery's sad demise is a great personal loss for me. He was one for whom I had the highest regard." "I offer my heartfelt condolences on Professor Jafery's loss. I pray for peace for the departed soul," Dr Pirzada Qasim said.
