Pakistan and China Monday expressed complete uniformity of views regarding cooperation in Anti-Corruption work and decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) before close of the year. The two sides agreed when Vice Minister of National Bureau of Corruption Prevention, Ministry of Supervision, China, Liu Jianchao called on Chairman, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Qamar Zaman Chaudhry here.
Ambassador of China, Sun Weidong, Deputy Chairman NAB and Prosecutor General Accountability (PGA) also present on the occasion. Welcoming the guests, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said matters of various strategic economic importances are being undertaken between the two friendly countries. The Anti-Corruption work will also be given importance so as to curb corruption in under process and huge development projects between the two countries.
He was given detailed briefing regarding operational methodology of NAB, encompassing enforcement, prosecution, awareness and prevention activities. Liu Jianchao reciprocated warmly and spoke about strategic partnership between the two countries and the need for future cooperation in field of Anti-Corruption work.
