A senior governing party leader has predicted his party's victory in the 2018 general elections and claimed that energy projects will get completed by 2017. Hamza Shahbaz, who is also the Public Affairs Unit Chairman and a member of the National Assembly talking to the media persons after a function in a hotel on Monday, said, 'The media is playing a commendable role for social uplift, exposing corruption. There should be a complete unity despite political differences for the national progress and prosperity."
He also said, "There is a growing public awareness and people fully support those who deliver and the result of the recent local bodies' elections is a proof of this fact. The snap election is a difficult phase for any government. In the Indian State of Bihar, the ruling party there badly lost the elections, whereas here the masses have expressed complete confidence in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government in the elections."
