Islamabad police officials on Thursday removed black papers from 200 vehicles having tinted glasses. Following the directions from Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Islamabad police have started campaign against suspected vehicles following which those having tinted glasses and blue lights would be checked.
Islamabad police have decided to take action as per law under Motor Vehicle Ordinance against those driving tinted glass vehicles or those making unable to others to see vehicle's occupants. Special teams have been constituted for the purpose and all Zonal DSPs, SDPOs, SHOs, staff of Falcon, Eagles and patrolling teams are monitoring the campaign. Vehicles with blue lights are being checked and action would be started against those selling blue lights or selling material to make glass of vehicles tinted.-PR
