ISLAMABAD: Ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khawaja Harris Wednesday continued cross-examination of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head, Wajid Zia in Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investments references.

During the hearing headed by Justice Malik Mohammad Arshad, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor told that he has no working on how the net profit was derived.

During the hearing, Khawaja Harris and Wajid Zia, again, exchanged the heated words.

On the remarks from Nawaz’s counsel NAB’s deputy prosecutor, Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi has raised objections over the use of inappropriate terms. Judge Malik Arshad raised the objection over Khawaja’s tactics of repeatedly asking the same question from Zia.

The former prime minister had already been given 10-year imprisonment in the Avenfiled reference in July this year while his daughter Maryam Nawaz was handed a 7-year jail term and son-in-law Captain (r) Muhammad Safdar one year imprisonment.
