The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday served notices to the chiefs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) over the violation of election code of conduct. According to an official of the ECP, the commission issued notice to JI chief Sirajul Haq and PTI chairman Imran Khan for violating the election code of conduct devised by the ECP. The notices were issued for the violation of code of conduct by the leaders in their rallies in Karachi during the local government elections in Karachi. The ECP would take further action after receiving their replies.
