Rangers filed a petition in court on Saturday to stop Sindh government from what it said meddling in the Dr Asim case. This is third application from Rangers against the Sindh government. DSR Rangers Sindh, Anayatullah Durrani, filed an application in Sindh High Court (SHC) stating that Sindh government is trying to influence the case of Dr Asim while investigation officer and witnesses are being pressurised.
The application gave the argument that when a challan was almost ready for the case, the Sindh government changed the investigation officer and now there is the risk of Public Prosecutor also being changed by the government.
