The Supreme Court has stopped the chief settlement commissioner, the deputy and assistant settlement commissioners of the Revenue Department from carrying on with their work since a settlement law has been repealed. The two-member bench headed by Justice Mian Saqib Nisar passed these orders while hearing a case regarding mismanagement in Settlement Department here at Supreme Court Lahore Registry.
