ISE index down 14.57 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 14.57 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,740.94 to 2,726.37 points. The overall turnover amounted to 40,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 4,900 shares.
Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (72) closed in negative territory, 63 landed in plus column and no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Pakcem Ltd was 30,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 5,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields Ltd was 3,000 shares.
