Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has submitted a Calling Attention Notice regarding water crisis in the National Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday. The Calling Attention Notice was submitted by Dr Nafisa Shah, Shahida Rehmani, Shazia Atta Marri, Imran Zafar Leghari and Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani.
According to text of Calling Attention Notice, "This is to invite the attention of the minister concerned towards poor water dispute strategy and ineffective water conservation and management policy. This lack of water resources in the country has adversely affected our economy and the energy sector and has already resulted in humongous loss of trillions of dollars. As this issue is of grave importance and has severe implications for the future of the country, therefore we would like to discuss it on the floor of the House under Rule no 88 of Rules and Procedures of National Assembly."
