Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Moula Bux Chandio said that all issues being faced by Hyderabad business community would be taken up personally with Chief Minister Sindh and other departments concerned of Sindh government to resolve them. He expressed these views while talking at a reception held in his honour by Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) on Saturday.
"Hyderabad is my city and I have spent my whole life here and I own this city and its people and business community. I will make all-out efforts to resolve all standing issue concerned with this city", he said. He said that it was not my authority to resolve the issues presented by the community but I had authority to raise the issues on the every forum of the government to get them resolved.
He suggested the community to form a committee with mandate to be in touch with Sindh government to resolve the issues. Rejecting the death of children occurred in Thar because of malnutrition, he said that the cause of death of children was not shortage of food but it was due to different diseases and other issues. He said that Sindh government had laid down wide network of roads in Thar where the people did not have the same difficulty to commute as earlier.
Replying to a question, he said that his government wanted peace in Sindh province for people and promoting business in the province and it always supported Rangers and its extension. Earlier, in his welcome address, President HCCI Goharullah said that business community of Hyderabad was facing various issues, including handing over of plots in Phase II of SITE to business community.
We have paid huge amount for plots in SITE area but so far management of SITE did not have over its possession to the community and there is a dire need of bus terminal in Hyderabad, he added. He also urged Sindh government to extend support for taking possession of plot allotted for HCCI secretariat at Auto Bhan road. He also expressed serious concerns over the supply of contaminated water to people of Hyderabad from Phuleli Wah. "There is a dire need to reconstruct the infrastructure of SITE area and ensure safe drinking water to industrial units there", he added.
