Police here on Thursday claimed to have foiled a bid of weapons smuggling and apprehended one accused. The Bhana Mari police stopped a vehicle on Dora Road and upon checking seized 40 pistols, four Kalashnikovs, three repeaters and 4,500 cartridges. The authorities stated that the weapons were being transported to Punjab.
