HP has introduced a new gaming PC that has been developed for HTC's virtual-reality headset Vive. The HP Envy Phoenix, which was introduced at the CES electronics show in Las Vegas, features an AMD Radeon R9 390x or Nvidia-GTX-980-Ti graphic card as well as optimised power operations and power settings.
Vive, which is planned to be released later in the first half of this year, can also be used and controlled as a second display.
The Envy Phoenix will have up to 32 gigabytes of working memory as well as an Intel's 6th-generation Core i7 processor with a cooling system to protect from heat overload.
Virtual reality game PCs are expected to be available at the end of this month in the United States for about 1,700 dollars (1,580 euros). Added to that will be the price of the HTC Vive virtual-reality headset.
