Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow and grief over the death of two labourers during work on Orange Line Metro Train Project near Thokar Niaz Baig. He sympathised with the bereaved families and directed the administration to provide best treatment facilities to the injured labourers.
He also ordered an inquiry into the incident and sought a report. The Chief Minister further directed that safety arrangements should be ensured during work on the project and concerned institutions should personally supervise these measures.
