The government intends to establish additional passport offices at 22 districts in Balochistan during this year to facilitate the people. In this connection, one passport office has already been established at district Kharan, Balochistan, reported Radio Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Passport home delivery system has recently been launched in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
At present, there are 95 regional passport offices functioning across the country catering the requirements of the general public. The system would be expanded to cover the entire country in four months.
A complete online application system for passports will also be launched by March next year.
