Grams prices declined on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of lean business, dealer said. On the grams side, gram Australian No 1 lost Rs 125 to Rs 8475, gram Australia Dall No 2 followed the same trend, losing Rs 100 to Rs 10000, gram 50x50 was down by Rs 375 to Rs 9000, gram Dall 50x50 was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 10500, yellow peas Russia was down by Rs 125 to Rs 3800 and yellow peas Dall Russia shed Rs 50 to Rs 4350, they added.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was unchanged at Rs 2100 while the best quality slipped by Rs 10 to Rs 2130, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. Prices were unmoved on the rice and cereals sectors, dealers said.
