Pakistan China Friendship Association, BMA Capital Management Ltd, Gorntazy Capital Partners Ltd and International Green Economy Association on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the establishment of a China Pakistan Private Economic and Investment Initiative (CPII).
The MoU signing ceremony was organised by BMA Capital at the conclusion of visit by a delegation of Chinese companies led by Sha Zukang here at a local hotel on Friday. The visit was organised by the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing. The CPII is aimed at providing further support and services to companies from China seeking to invest in or do business in Pakistan with reciprocal services to Pakistani companies.
Sha Zukang, who is also the Chairman Pakistan China Friendship Association, on this occasion said, "China is very confident in Pakistan's future and hence has invested more in Pakistan than it has any other Asian county." He further emphasised that they have come to Pakistan due to their confidence in it and will continue to keep bringing groups of private sector companies to explore opportunities.
Chairman BMA Moazzam Malik said: "After seeing such an impressive private sector delegation visit Pakistan, and many more to come, it is great to see the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) come to life. We hope these initiatives can bring success and prosperity to both countries."
BMA Capital is a corporate member of the Karachi Stock Exchange and is one of the leading securities brokerage, asset management & investment banking firms in Pakistan, established since 1992, he informed. Chairman Gorntazy Munir Akram on this occasion thanked Sha Zukang for making into Pakistan after many years. "It is imperative that we establish a process to follow up on either side for tangible and concrete results of various MoU being signed."
Gorntazy Group's strategic objective is to help its clients build relationships in the Middle East and Asia, particularity China, with a view to raise capital from these regions and promoting strong trade and economic links between investors, governments and Gomtazy's clients, he added. The mission of International Green Economy Association is to promote green economy, sustainable development and to construct an ecological civilization.
