Spokesman of Pakistan International Airlines on Sunday made it clear that it had already been stated that the job security and perks of the airlines employees would be ensured through legislation, therefore continuing strike by them is uncalled for.
In a statement issued, the spokesman expressed the hope that the PIA employees would return to their work on Monday after calling off their strike and would join hands with the management in efforts towards revival of the airlines.
Therefore, he said, all the employees of the airlines are advised to ensure their presence in their respective work places on Monday. All the office of the airlines would reopen as the PIA management considers the strike as "illegal and unlawful".
All necessary arrangements for ensuring security of all the offices and installations of the airlines had already been extensively undertaken, he said.
"It had already been made clear that instantly no strategic partner existed nor being explored. All out efforts are in hand for the betterment of the airlines," he said.
Hope is being attached with the employees that they will make dedicated and sincere efforts for the betterment of PIA by joining hands with the management, he added.
