Orange Line Train: payment of compensation to affectees starts today

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is starting payment of compensation to the owners of the land and properties for the construction of Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) from Monday (today). LDA spokesman said that LDA was setting up camps at Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Beg, Jain Mandar and Engineering University to receive applications from the affected people from 9.am to 2 pm.
He said the affected persons should address applications to Collector Land Acquisition LDA and attach a copy of ID Card, copies of ID Cards of two witnesses, Indemnity Bond of Rs 100 stamp paper, Affidavit on Rs 50 stamp paper, certified copy of Registry, certified copy of Fard by Revenue Officer, Transfer of Land, certified copies of Electricity and Gas bills, copy of property tax etc.
