Jordan tenders to buy wheat and barley

Jordan's state grain buyer has issued new international tenders to purchase 100,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat and 100,000 tonnes of animal feed barley, both to be sourced from optional origins, European traders said on Thursday. The tender deadline for the new wheat tender is February 9 and for the barley tender it is February 11, they said. The wheat was sought for shipment in July. The barley was sought in a series of possible shipment combinations between May and June, they said.
It its last tender on January 27, Jordan purchased 100,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat to be sourced from optional origins after seeking offers for the same volume.
