The Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali has recommended to Sindh Home Department the name of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) City, Fida Hussain Janwari to be notified as head of joint interrogation team (JIT) on notorious Lyari gangster Uzair Baloch.
Sindh Police forwarded SSP City Fida Hussain Janwari's name for final approval and issuance of a relevant notification to validate his position as head of the JIT. The paramilitary Rangers had few weeks ago claimed to have arrested Uzair Baloch from Karachi's periphery when he was attempting to enter Karachi from Hub in Balochistan. His arrest remained controversial as local media had for several times reported he was arrested almost one year ago from Dubai through the Interpol.
