The Minister of State and Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Ms. Marvi Memon, has said that 26,546 Mustahqeen are benefiting from this very programme in Makran Division. She stated this while speaking at a programme held here on Sunday. Ms. Marvi informed that soon an office of BISP would be established in Gwadar.
She assured that the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would ensure that the people of the area are also benefited from the development programmes. Such development programmes are being carried out in all parts of the country including Balochistan.
The chief of BISP informed that ten of millions of poor women are being extended financial support through this very programme to help improve their lot.
She asked the women to pay attention towards learning skills so as to stand on their own feet.
