Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that PML-N is not scared of accountability as it has been facing it for the past twenty years; however, he added, NAB should investigate the causes but not harass or disgrace the people.
Talking to newsmen here on Sunday Rashid said that former military ruler General Pervaiz Musharraf (retd) had created the National Accountability Bureau just to take revenge from Nawaz Sharif
He said the politicians who were scared of accountability had left the PML-N and joined the 'Musharraf league'. He said the Musharraf League was created to avert accountability.
The minister said if there is any shortcoming in the working of the NAB, measures will be taken to set it right.
He said the accountability clauses were included in the Charter of Democracy signed by the PML-N and PPP.
Rashid said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had declared his entire assets before contesting the elections. He said the constitution can be amended for the sake of country and betterment of the masses.

Answering a question about the possible visit of the national cricket team to India, he said the team will not proceed to India unless the Indian government assured foolproof security.
In reply to a question regarding allegations levelled by former Nazim Karachi Mustafa Kamal against MQM leaders, the Minister said that the government has set up an inquiry committee, if any one has proofs, then he should give those proofs to the committee. He alleged that Pervaiz Musharraf and Imran Khan had been partners in deteriorating Karachi situation.
