Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in central Ankara in which several precious lives were lost. The Prime Minister in a message extended heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Turkey and prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls. He also prayed for speedy recovery of injured.
"The people and government of Pakistan are deeply saddened and share the grief of their Turkish brethren at this critical moment," the PM said in a message released by his media office.
An explosive laden car driven by a suicide bomber blew up in Central Ankara Sunday night killing over two dozen people and injuring over 100 people. Prime Minister Sharif said "terrorism is common threat and it is a collective responsibility to fight it." The PM said Pakistan stood firm against every act of terror anywhere in the world.
