MQM never wants division of Sindh: Altaf Hussain
KARACHI: Leader of the Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain while addressing a public gathering in Sukkur said that all MQM does not want divison of Sindh .
Altaf said he only wants feudalism to end, and added, Sindh has to decide whether the province wants to eliminate feudalism.
Altaf said further that Sindh adds 70 percent of revenue to the national exchequer, and added, the country cannot run on only 30 percent.
He said, "All Sindhis are equal," and added, "I hate the word ‘minority.’”
Talking about the situation in Balochistsn, Altif said, the issue should be resolved through negotiations.
He said, “Nara-e-Sindh, Nara-e-Pakistan.”
The leader of the MQM announced a Rs1 million grant for the Sukkur Press Club.
