Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) apprehended 12 electricity thieves upon the special directives of Chief Executive Officer Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan in different areas of IESCO Region. According to the details, 02 culprits were caught red handed from Islamabad Circle, 04 from Rawalpindi Circle, 03 from Attock Circle and 03 from Chakwal Circle. All culprits were found involved in power theft through direct line (Kunda System). IESCO has lodged applications against power thieves under the new electricity (Amendment) Act. IESCO is committed to crack down power theft across IESCO region and requested its valued customers to inform power theft on IESCO Toll Free No 0800-25250.
