Senior lawyer and leader of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Ahmed Raza Kasuri on Sunday dismissed notion that departure of Pervez Musharraf was result of a secret deal between the government and the former military dictator.
"Musharraf called me at 2:00 am before leaving. He said government wanted to strike a deal but I declined," said Kausri.
The APML leader said the former president would return to Pakistan and resume partaking in the national politics after his recovery from ailment.
Musharraf had left the country after the government removed his name from the exit control list (ECL) in light of the Supreme Court orders.
