Rangers get 90-day custody of MQM's Saeed Bharam

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) allowed Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) on Tuesday to detain Ahmed Saeed alias Bharam, an activist of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), for 90 days for questioning. The Rangers along with its counsel produced Bharam before the administrative judge of the ATC amid tight security. The paramilitary force submitted the papers to the court according to which they had credible information about suspects' involvement in targeted murders, kidnapping, extortion and offences that came within the ambit of Anti-Terrorism Act. -PPI.
