Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) apprehended eight electricity thieves upon the special directives of Chief Executive Officer Dr Rana Abdul Jabbar Khan in different areas of IESCO Region. According to the details, five culprits were caught red handed from Jhelum Circle, two from Chakwal Circle and one from Attock Circle. All culprits were found involved in power theft through direct line (Kunda System) and through bogus meter. IESCO has lodged applications against power thieves under the new electricity (Amendment) Act.
